Building an Emotionally Intelligent Team
on Thursday, October 29th from 9:15 am to 11:30 am

This is an interactive workshop that will introduce the participants to the concept of building an emotionally intelligent team. The program/activities guide the participants through self-analysis and the importance of understanding their own emotional behaviors and tendencies before setting expectations for their team.

Do You Know the Status of Your Bricks and Mortar?
on Thursday, October 29th from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm

The presentation will emphasize the importance of understanding the status of and protecting the value of an organization's physical (and most valuable) asset, whether it be a new building complete with the most current technology or an aging building with the challenges that such a building poses. The session will focus on three main topics: Risk Management and Risk Mitigation Tools; A Balanced Approach to Operations Management; and The Importance of a Long-Range Strategic Plan. The session is designed as a combination lecture/case study and group discussion. If the presentation is accepted, Sodexo would like to request the participation of two to three of our PANPHA clients with the thought that these clients would share their Building Services stories.

The Honorable Michael Montelongo will share leadership skills gained from his experiences over his extensive career in the Army, Business Sector, as Acting Secretary of the Air Force in the Bush Administration and as Sodexo’s Chief Administrative Officer.
